In my experience of treating thousands of people, lasting results come from focusing on the individual, not just the condition.

This simple belief has shaped the way we've built the Hims & Hers platform and is especially important in how we designed our weight loss offering, because we know that the condition and the treatment is never one-size-fits-all. We’re committed to bringing our customers more treatment options that best suit their needs, and we’ve now expanded that choice even further by adding access to generic liraglutide and branded tirzepatide through our platform. This is in addition to oral medication kits, compounded semaglutide, and branded semaglutide.

Weight loss is about more than medication, or even the number on the scale. It’s about helping people become a healthier, more empowered version of themselves. That means a solution must focus on treating the whole person, not just prescribing a medication and hoping for the best. We’ve seen successful, sustainable weight loss requires a holistic approach grounded in four essential pillars: medication, nutrition, physical activity, and behavioral support.

Medication helps the body manage the biological factors that affect weight. Nutrition fuels the body. Physical activity builds strength and resilience. And behavioral support helps form lasting habits that create real, lifelong change.

Through our platform, we’re weaving all of these tools together to provide access to a truly comprehensive care experience to deliver the best solution for every individual. For some, that can mean access to a broad range of weight loss medications, including compounded, generic, and branded options. For others, it might mean working with their care team to better understand their diet, exercise, and behavioral patterns in the app. For everyone, it means consistent, 24/7 access to their care team and their entire holistic toolkit, without interruption or arbitrary barriers to care.

The results our customers are achieving show this approach is how to deliver the kind of impact our customers deserve. The vast majority of customers on weight loss treatments through Hims & Hers are sticking with their subscriptions after the first month, a strong signal that they’re building healthier habits, staying committed to their journey, and making meaningful progress toward their goals. This is significant because research has shown that over 30% of commercially insured adults prescribed GLP-1 treatment discontinue within the first four weeks.

Building solutions designed to truly fit the needs of individuals is how we're going to see a fundamental shift in the health of Americans. As we look ahead, we plan to continue to expand our weight loss offering to deliver an even more holistic, personalized experience. That includes plans to broaden access to a wider variety of trusted medications, launch new behavioral support programs, add at-home blood testing to our offering, and roll out enhanced app features to track movement, nutrition, and progress and weight in real time, as well as exploring our ability to predict weight loss success based on an individual’s medical history. All of this is part of our long-term commitment to build the most comprehensive and personalized digital health platform for weight loss and beyond.

Because at the end of the day, we’re not just helping people lose weight. We’re helping them reach their goals in the way that feels best for them.
