That's the problem Hers exists to solve, and this week, we took two of our biggest steps yet. In Australia, Hers officially launched into the market, expanding access to care across our Hers Hair, Perimenopause and Menopause, and Weight Loss specialties. And today in the UK, we introduced Hers Hair, expanding access to doctor trusted service and treatment options, including in the UK, first-of-its-kind chewable options for women, to a condition millions face but rarely feel comfortable naming out loud.
Two markets, two launches, one story: meeting women where they are, not where a legacy system assumed they'd be. The barriers are a lack of access, a lack of privacy, and too often, women not being taken seriously. In January 2024, the World Economic Forum published a report on the gender health gap, finding that women spend 25% more of their lives in poor health or with disabilities than men. Globally, that adds up to 75 million years of life lost each year to poor health or early death. With more than 10 million adult women in Australia and nearly 30 million in the UK, the opportunity to close that gap is enormous.
To do it right, it has to start with clinical rigour, not guesswork. Whether Hers is helping providers treat obesity, perimenopause, menopause, or hair thinning, every plan is grounded in evidence and overseen by independent, licensed clinicians. In every market Hers enters, clinicians licensed and practicing locally bring real knowledge of their patients and healthcare systems, so global standards translate into care that fits. Hers also gives women discretion and choice, including a private, comprehensive online assessment, the option to request a female practitioner in Australia, and care with a trusted channel to ask difficult questions.
Today's expansion is a story about comprehensive care and true medical innovation reaching the women who need it. A breakthrough locked inside one country isn't a breakthrough. It's a privilege for the few. Our job at Hers is to get what works to every woman who needs it, responsibly, no matter her distance from the nearest clinic.
Three years ago, Hers supported a small fraction of the people it does today. Since then, it has become one of the company's strongest growth drivers, and we’re just scratching the surface of what the brand can become. That growth is proof that when you build care around women, women show up for it, and that demand doesn't stop at a border. Expanding into Australia and the UK is the next step in reaching women around the world.
Women everywhere have spent too long twisting themselves to fit a system that was never built with them in mind. Hers is built the other way around, so that every woman, wherever she lives, gets to live fully, on her own terms.
