Last Wednesday at Quarters in New York City, we took an important step forward in women's health. To celebrate the launch of a new offering through Hers for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, I hosted an intimate and honest gathering with entrepreneur, actress, and founder of YSE Beauty, Molly Sims. The event created a powerful atmosphere of open conversation and collective support among women.
Women spoke freely, sharing their personal journeys, struggles and asking questions with interest and vulnerability. The event was a necessary moment for women to come together, speak their truth, and shatter expectations around how women should feel and behave at this stage of life. For too long, women have been forced to fit into a healthcare system not built for them. Women deserve access to safe care that they can trust and is built to fit seamlessly into their lives.

As Molly shared her personal journey, she captured the spirit of our mission at Hers: “Traditionally, it’s been hard for people to relate to or understand what women go through. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Now more than ever, we have a voice and can name our experiences. The more we talk openly about perimenopause and menopause, the more society will normalize and embrace these conversations.”
I’ve been an OB/GYN for more than 20 years, and I know that transforming the healthcare experience for women starts with increasing access to care and providers that can walk alongside women through every phase of life. And this isn’t just about medication – it’s about building and growing a platform that women can trust to access the care they need.
The most crucial takeaway from that night is this: While the journey through perimenopause and menopause can be complex, it is also an opportunity to reclaim and reinvent yourself. And best of all, have fun while doing it. You have the power to define who you want to be in this next, fiercest phase of life. And now through Hers, you can access the care you need to support you every step of the way.
